PlayStation Game Runners @ UK, Summer 2010

TIME AND PLACE:

THIS SUMMER

@ UK

InFormed is happy to say we are currently working with PlayStation on a new exciting project, but let me hand you to Celeste who is one of our Game Runners, she will get you understanding everything.

I'm Celeste and I'm a Game Runner, taking game play from your HD TV screens to the streets of London.

For the next couple of monthsFacebook users will be introduced to PlayStation Game Runners, a group of young creative people who are creating real-life games and campaigning to get the UK playing them.

This project is running in conjunction with PlayStation's Move campaign highlighting the importance in social play and how much fun it is. We are working hard on putting together three different social games that will be played by 500-1000 people at one big event on October 8th

Here's the catch: Only one game will be played and Facebook will be choosing which one it will be by interacting with the PlayStation Game Runners Facebook Application.

The Facebook Application will be updated daily with interesting videos, pictures and blog posts from the PlayStation Game Runners giving a true insight into the project and what is happening behind the scenes.

This is an event you don't want to miss out on, so to be a part of this new gaming phenomenon click---> here.
Push the 'Like' button, vote for your favourite game, I’m championing Flags, so make sure you vote for that one, and mark October 8th in your diary. Simples.

To learn more about me and why I became a game runner check out this video

You don't want to miss out on this.

Ok so if you were at carni and you went fucking ballistic like we did at the Major lazer party. You may wanna chillin out and take it easy today. Appreciate some art. The contrast between the events of yesterday and today should bring balance to the brain. we suggest this.

This exhibition, encompassing a broad range of subjects relating to city life, is hosted by Somerset House Trust to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Fleming-Wyfold Foundation.

These works by historic and contemporary artists explore perceptions of public spaces and imaginary scenes as well as human activity and thought. The strong understanding of representational painting is evident in many of the paintings and characteristic of contemporary and historic Scottish art.
